Higher education quality assurance is the process of determining and fulfilling the quality standards of higher education management consistently and sustainably so that all stakeholders get satisfaction. Universitas Brawijaya and its work units including PS Physics have implemented this quality assurance system.

PS Physics based on the Vision, Mission, Objectives, Targets and Achievement Strategies for PS Physics that have been prepared and refer to RESTRA in carrying out the educational process must meet the quality standards of education to ensure the quality of graduates following the competencies specified/promised. This of course must be implemented consistently and continuously improved. For this reason, a Quality Assurance Unit Team (UJM) has been formed at the Physics Department level, in coordination with the Quality Assurance Center (PJM) at the university level and the Quality Assurance Group (GJM) at the faculty level.

Internal quality management in the Department of Physics is carried out comprehensively and integrated into a quality and development system. The elements of the system are:

The organizational structure of the Department of Physics is designed to effectively manage resources and provide maximum service to stakeholders.

Quality Development Divisions are units that are part of the Quality Assurance Unit (UJM) majoring in Physics. These divisions actively work to carry out continuous internal evaluations and assist the department heads in making strategic plans for the department both in terms of development and institutional arrangements. The following are the development units:

  4. Research and Development Division
  5. Division of Public Relations and Services
  6. Information and Database Division
  7. Career Development and HR Division

Each division is responsible for evaluating the department on an ongoing basis following their respective fields.
