Biophysics Laboratory is located on the 2nd floor of the Physics Building with the main task of organizing practicum activities to support the Lectures on Expertise (KBK) Biophysics and Medical Physics. Currently Biophysics Laboratory has been serving practicum activities for students who take courses Biophysics 1 and Biophysics 2, as well as courses of Biological Physics group from other majors within UB. In addition, the Biophysics Laboratory is still continuing to design other practical activities, which is possible as a support for certain subjects, especially courses that are intended for KBK Biophysics and Medical Physics.

Besides being an educational laboratory serving practicum activities, the Biophysics Laboratory also serves the needs of Physics Department students in conducting final research, especially from KBK Biophysics and Medical Physics. For this purpose, the Biophysical Laboratory stipulates the rules on instrument borrowing, orderliness, and others as specified in the Manual of Procedures for Biophysical Laboratories.
